What I Have Done So Far

Image
________________________ Entry #4 ________________________ What I Have Done So Far           A lot has happened in this first quarter of being a grade 10 student. I have learned a lot of valuable information from my teachers. I've learned that I need to be serious in my studies as I move on to more advanced and harder lessons in my subjects. I have also learned that getting enough sleep is important because lack of sleep makes you less focused and tired, speaking from experience.          I have encountered some bumpy roads traversing this first quarter. One problem I noticed is that I am cramming and procrastinating projects and assignments, specifically my thematic project and blog posts. As a result, I spent my night cramming for my projects, which disrupted my sleep schedule and caused me to doze off in class. This problem greatly affects me, making the quality of my assignments and projects mediocre at best, and I...

Food and Nutrition For All

________________________ Entry #3 ________________________ Food and Nutrition For All              Every month of July, we celebrate Nutrition Month. This month, we spread awareness about proper food and nutrition. But only letting other people do the work is not fair; instead, we should be involved. So, I will show how I have contributed to this year's Nutrition Month.          Many activities can  be done in this Nutrition Month, but the activity I chose to compete in is the Nutriquiz. Participating in this competition is beneficial to me as I learned a lot about nutrition and spread awareness about it. And the cherry on top was when I won the competition. I also supported my classmates in the competitions they participated in.           In conclusion, it takes everyone to make a difference in spreading awareness about nutrition. We can't just stand by and watch while many people...

Dear President of the Philippines

Image
________________________ Entry #2 ________________________ Dear President of the Philippines      Dear President Bong Bong Marcos,            I hope this letter finds you well. I know being the president of the Philippines can be challenging and full of responsibility. But this is not an excuse to slack off and do nothing. You may be doing something where eyes cannot see, but I haven't heard much from you since you were elected as president. So I will give you suggestions on what to do for our country.           First of all, reduce corruption in the government. I know removing corruption is nearly impossible, but reducing corruption is appreciated. Next, improve the education of Filipinos. The Philippines has one of the lowest literacy rates in the world, and the curriculum is outclassed by other countries. And lastly, poverty in the country. This has been a prevalent issue that affects a lot of peop...

The Last Chapter of Junior High School

________________________ Entry #1 ________________________ The Last Chapter of Junior High School                  Hello everyone, let me introduce myself. I am Warren James P. Giron, and I am part of 10-Marconi at Ilocos Sur National High School. I was born on May 20, 2010, and I am currently 15 years old. My mother's name is Ruby Pader Giron, and my little sister's name is Olivia Isabelle Giron. Some of my interests are math and playing games.               One of my greatest fears is people judging me. Every action I take, I always think about how people will judge me for doing it. This makes me nervous around people, as I try to avoid doing things that can embarrass me and judge me for it. Because of this, I often avoid interacting with people or feel awkward around them.         I have to overcome this part of me because I am a student of the Special Science Class. As a...
