My Experience in the Intramurals

  
     One of the most anticipated events of the school year is the Intramurals. During this time, students participate in various sports competitions to qualify for the city meet. In addition to the games, the Mr. and Ms. Intramurals pageant is also held. This year, one of my classmates had the opportunity to join this event. 

     One of the sports that I watched is basketball. The competition was fierce as each player was pumped up and ready to give it their all. I also watched the chess competition where my cousin, Raven Ford P. Laitan from 9-Becquerel, competed and won 2nd place. It was amazing watching the students fight for the crown.


    This event is not just about winning competitions; it's about supporting one another. Although I didn't participate in any contests, I was able to support my classmates in their respective sports. My classmates being happy also makes me happy. This is the spirit of the Intramurals, uniting us all together to have fun and enjoy this school year.

Cutting overgrown grass in our barangay with barangay officials. Collecting the cut overgrown grass in our barangay. Putting leaves and branches in bins to be used later for composting. Discussing with barangay officials on what to do. Getting rid of weeds in the grass with barangay officials. Barangay officials are happy that the barangay is cleaner than before.     ________________________ Entry #4 ________________________ What I Have Done So Far           A lot has happened in this first quarter of being a grade 10 student. I have learned a lot of valuable information from my teachers. I've learned that I need to be serious in my studies as I move on to more advanced and harder lessons in my subjects. I have also learned that getting enough sleep is important because lack of sleep makes you less focused and tired, speaking from experience.          I have encountered some bumpy roads traversing this first quarter. One problem I noticed is that I am cramming and procrastinating projects and assignments, specifically my thematic project and blog posts. As a result, I spent my night cramming for my projects, which disrupted my sleep schedule and caused me to doze off in class.
